March 5, 2009…It’s about 7:20 AM. It’s a chilly, wet morning in the Bay Area… I’ve been trying to connect to various websites since 5AM this morning, but to no avail. There are only a few sites that I need this morning and they are completely out of reach for me, while others are freely accessable. The reason? You got me. I’m totally baffled.
I can access my own site, Digg.com. Google sites, and Twitter. I cannot connect with FaceBook, Nerve.com, Gawker sites, or Delicious. Even on the Digg.com page, there is a broken link because of “Network Timeout.” I’m using FireFox and Chrome and getting the same results. I usually pride myself on being able to figure these things out on my own, but this time I feel like I’m lost in the dark. Help!
Is this an issue with our Comcast cacle? Are these sites down (highly unlikely)? Or is there a missing link that is down? View the screen shots after the jump.
**UPDATE**
I feel pretty lame. Every site that I listed above came up at 8AM. It was probably a maintenance thing. Or was it?
