Don’t the users of YouTube know that the Internet loves cats? Last week two sick teenage boys video taped themselves abusing a cat and posted it on YouTube. Big mistake. After the outrage hit social media sites like 4Chan, Digg, and Reddit, there was a fervent search for the identity of the perpetrators. The collective efforts of hundreds, maybe thousands, of social media users produced the identity of the cat abusers. The two boys were from Lawton, OK and have been taken into custody by the officials.

Get Your Free Ringtones, While You Can
This site has to be illegal somehow, but it’s up and running, so check it out. I found it a few months back and never got a proper chance to write about it. The site is audiko.net and it offers free ringtones. Not only can you search for ringtones, you can make them yourself with your music or a YouTube link. Then you can “crop” you song at any part you want, up to 40 seconds. The YouTube links take a long time to process, but it does work. The files supported are mp3, m4r, and AMR-nb. I’ve tested this service for my iPhone and it is awesome.
